A family favourite! ' Phaliyan' (Peas). In africa people called it Sawawas and make them in ketchup. They taste incredible when serve it with white boil rice.
Ingredients:
Peas 1/2 kg
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2tsp
Zeera 1 pinch
Oil 3tbsp
Tamarind pulp 3tbsp
Method:
Heat the oil in a pan.Mix all the ingredients with phaliyan.Cooked in a very little water so it's steaming on a low heat till nice and tender.
Serve it with white boil rice .
